Sideshow Toy is a collectible and specialty market manufacturer of licensed and proprietary toy products. In 2000, Sideshow created a unique partnership for product development with Weta Workshop of New Zealand, the company responsible for the conceptualizing, prosthetics, make-up effects, weapons, armor and miniatures for Peter Jackson's, Lord of the Rings, film trilogy. Over a ten month period, beginning in september 2001, the Sideshow / Weta team are releasing a broad range of collectibles figures, bust, miniatures weapons and helmets based on the first film in the trilogy "Fellowship of the Ring". |
